    OPERATING MODES Basic Mode The modes that can be selected both from the THermo app and from the chronothermostat are indicated below. Manual With this mode it is possible to adjust the temperature quickly. Automatic With this mode it is possible to use the device with a predefined time programming in heating or cooling mode, on four pre-set temperature levels.

    ADVANCED FUNCTIONS The modes available only from the THermo app are indicated below. Display mode Through the THermo app it is possible to select a simplified display of the screen. In this case, the following will be displayed: - temperature set-point, - system state, - internal temperature detected.
  • Page 6 Proportional Integral Algorithm Suggested for systems that are hard to control due to extreme, outdoor temperature variations. It ensures that the system is fully exploited while containing costs. It is for optimizing consumption while obtaining the most out ambient comfort, by reducing a boiler's powering-on times according to the difference between the set and room temperatures.

    INSTALLATION Install the device in a place suitable for detecting the room's temperature, possibly onto an inside wall, and avoid any nooks, behind doors, near curtains or heat sources. Recess-mounted installation Once the electrical connections have been made, assemble the device Install the device on flat surfaces, avoiding to excessively close the screws.

    Electrical connections The connections must be suitable for the devices controlled by the chronothermostat. Legend Mains power-supply conductors N = neutral - L = phase Relay contacts C = common NA = normally open contact NC = normally closed contact Loads U1 = burner, circulation pump, electric valve, etc.
  • Page 9 COMMISSIONING Download the THermo app from the reference stores. Power on the device. Start the app and select Bluetooth® data transmission. 1 Press to add a new chronothermostat.
  • Page 10 Select the chronothermostat to be added to those found. A six-digit code is displayed on the display of the device. Enter the code in the space provided and continue.

    USING THE DEVICE Premise When first switched on, the device is in automatic heating mode The temperature measured appears on the display. When the device is in stand-by, putting your hand near it, the screen is activated without executing any command.     Manual mode Press until the icon appears Use the arrows to set the desired function In this mode, when the device is in stand-by, putting your hand near it, the display is activated and, instead of the time display, the value of the set temperature appears for a few seconds.

    If the system is in 'Cooling' mode, the control will be totally excluded If the system is in 'Heating' mode, the antifreeze function remains active For a few seconds the temperature set for the antifreeze is shown and then the current time and the detected temperature are displayed.

    Press the button to set the temperature to be maintained in the previously set days interval Use the arrows to set the desired value. A long press on the arrows allows to reach the desired value faster. With function enabled - when the contact is opened, the thermal zone (after a few tens of seconds) goes out. - when the contact is closed, the thermal zone returns to the previous mode.
