INSTRUMENT SERIAL NUMBERS
Each instrument has a serial number on a panel insert, tag, or
stamped on the chassis. The first two digits designate the country of
manufacture. The last five digits of the serial number are unique to
each instrument. The country of manufacture is identified as follows:
