OPTIONS AND PC CARD EXPANSION

You can add a number of options and connect a number of
external devices and PC cards to your NEC Versa 4000.
For details on how to obtain these options, see the online
Options Catalog.

Hard Disk

You can increase the system's storage capacity by replacing
the standard hard disk or adding a second disk in the
VersaBay II. (Adding a second hard disk is described in the
section "VersaBay II.")
Replace the hard disk drive as follows.
Check that the NEC Versa power is off.

Turn the NEC Versa 4000 upside down with the front of
the unit facing you.
3.
Remove the drive cover as follows:
Locate the drive cover latch and slide it toward the
front of the unit.
Slide the cover about a quarter of an inch away from
the system.
Lift the cover up and off of the system.
