CAUTION
For replacing batteries:
The power is automatically turned off if the MobilePro HPC is kept running when the
l
batteries are too weak. You must replace the batteries immediately if the power is
turned off.
Always, use two new batteries of the same type, same manufacturer.
l
User memory may be lost if the main batteries are not in place for a long time and the
l
sub battery is weak.
If you use the MobilePro HPC without the sub battery installed, the user memory may
l
be unstable. The contents of the user memory may be lost when the main batteries
are removed.
Always backup you data to the desktop before replacing the sub battery.
l
If the Battery Very Low message appears while using your Mobile HPC, immediately
replace the batteries as described below.
The following message is displayed when the main batteries are worn out.
CAUTION
If both the "Main Battery Very Low" and the "Sub Battery Very Low" messages are
indicated, replace the sub battery first.
Step 1
Turn the MobilePro HPC off.
Step 2
Have two (2) new AA Alkaline batteries available.
Step 3
Slide the battery lock switch on the bottom of the unit to the MAIN_BATT position.
Carefully slide the battery compartment cover in the direction of the arrow as shown.
Remove the cover and take out the old batteries.
