The "TRIP INFO" menu
In the "TRIP INFO" menu you can call up lots of information related to your journey.
Press the TRIP INFO button.
The "TRIP INFO" menu will be displayed
The following information is available:
Trip computer
The following information appears in the "Trip computer" information menu:
Current speed
Average speed
Maximum speed so far
Distance travelled
Time travelled
Resetting values:
Confirm "Reset?".
Confirm the deletion.
All trip computer values are reset to zero.
Car position
Display of the current car position with street*, country code*, town* as well as the
GPS position (geographic longitude and latitude).
The GPS position can be accessed at any time via the "Emergency" option in the
navigation menu.
* Only if you are on a digitised road.
Via points
If via points en route to the actual destination have been entered, the via points not
yet reached will be shown here.
Select the required via point from the list in order to view details or delete it.
Confirm the deletion if you no longer want to go to this via point.

Using this menu you have the opportunity to display special destinations (Points Of In-
terest) in the vicinity of the current car position and to select them as a destination or
via point.
First select the category of the special facility required (e.g. Petrol station, Car park).
A list of facilities pertaining to the selected category, located in the vicinity of the
current vehicle position, will then appear. Additionally, the linear distance and di-
rection to the facilities are shown.
The list is sorted on the basis of the distance from the car position.
Confirm the required facility.
Select "New destination" or "1st via pt." to adopt the selected facility as a new des-
tination or as the first via point.
The navigation system plans a new route.
