Guidance screen; Overview 1

The guidance screen appears as soon as you activate the guidance.
The guidance screen displays the following information:
1 Simplified presentation of the next turn-off prompt (early warning).
2 Road into which to turn at the next announcement.
3 Distance to the next change of direction.
4 Information symbols:
- S : There is an Info Point* in the near vicinity
- I : There is a tourist attraction* in the near vicinity
- U : You are in an area with incomplete map information.
5 Display of the radio or CD/ CDC functional area
6 Road direction arrow. The arrow indicates the course of the road.
7 Display of the following information:
– Estimated time of arrival or
– current time or
– remaining travel time and
– remaining driving distance.
The time displayed can be selected in the SETUP menu.
8 Display of the current position
9 D or R symbol: Indicates the dynamic route planning setting (DRP).
0 T symbol: Indicates the setting for traffic announcements.
q Selected route planning criteria.
w r Route & Sound symbol: Indicates that map data is being read or that the map
CD has to be inserted.
If the Route & Sound symbol is not displayed the corridor is fully loaded and the
map CD can be removed.
* Relevant C-IQ products must be activated.
