Listening to a CD/MP3
CD/ MP3 playback
If the unit is not yet in CD mode:
Press the CD•C button.
CD/ CDC or MP3 playback begins.
The CDs in the CD changer* are displayed as "CD 1", "CD 2", "CD 3", etc. The CD in
the CD player will be displayed as "CD".
The MP3 symbol will be shown in the display if an MP3 is being played.
CD/ MP3 screen
The following information is displayed on the CD screen:
1 [CD]: Playback via an internal CD player
[CDC]: Playback via a connected CD changer
2 Symbol for the status of the traffic programme function, see page 18.
3 Symbol for MP3 playback
4 Symbol for an incoming telephone call (mute or transmitting the telephone call,
depending on the telephone connection).
5 Playing time and current track
6 Time
7 Sound style set/ MUTE symbol when the mute function is active
8 List of available CDs
- CD in CD player: "CD"
- CDs in CD changer: "CD 1" ... "CD 6"
- Empty magazine sections: "..."
9 Current audio/ MP3 CD
0 CD text/ ID3 tag or file name for MP3 files
q Information on playback mode (scan, random etc.)
Displaying the CD/ MP3 screen (e.g. during guidance)
Press OK.
