Remote Controller

Below is the diagram of the Remote Controller. You should get comfortable and familiar with the Remote Controller before every sail to prevent any accidents or incidents while sailing.
Remote Controller Overview

Remote Controller Battery Installation

As shown in figure 1, open the battery cover of remote controller, correctly install 4X 1.5V AA batteries according to the battery box polarity (available separately), then cover the battery cover.
The steering wheel and speed control board should be in a neutral and centered state when the controller is turned on. If the steering wheel is causing the boat to drift even when centered, or the speed control board is causing the boat to move forward and back, you can compensate for the drift using the two fine adjustment knobs atop the remote control.
Remote Controller Battery Installation

  • Insert 4 new 1.5V AA batteries as indicated.
  • Do not mix old and new batteries.
  • Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
  • If using rechargeable batteries, remove prior to charging. Children should handle rechargeable batteries under adult supervision only.
  • Exhausted/depleted batteries are to be removed from the remote controller.
  • Please be careful when recharging the batteries so that the power supply terminals are not short-circuited.

How to setup the boat with the remote control

  1. Flip the remote controller power switch, and after noticing its green light is flashing, put the racing yacht into water; the hull power switch conducts automatically. The hul lights will flash, and you should hear a "tick" sound from the remote controller. The remote controller's green light will and the hull lamp will turn on, indicating the success of frequency calibration, at this time, you can freely manipulate the racing yacht to play.
  2. You can't carry on the frequency calibration operation simultaneously when there are several racing yachts playing all together. You need calibrate them one by one, otherwise it will lead to no right and wrong frequency.
  3. Frequency calibration relies on memory function, so you should perform another frequency calibration if you purchase a new remote. To reset the calibration on the boat long press the hull lamp button of remote controller, turn the remote control power switch to "ON" at the same time, the remote controller green lamp flashes, put the boat into the water, green light normally turns on after hearing a "kick" sound, indicating the completion of the frequency calibration.

caution Attention

  1. The product is only suitable for kids over 14 years age.
  2. Don't play in grassy and silty water, the water impurities may bind the boat propellers, leading to motor failure
  3. Don't play in the swimming pool or water where there are people present, so as not to hurt them.
  4. Don't exceed the range of remote control when sailing the boat, in order to avoid losing control of the boat when it's in an inaccessible location
  5. Don't play the boat in brackish waters, to avoid damage to the boat of parts.
  6. It is a normal phenomenon for the boat to release a little smoke when sailing for the first time. The smoke will gradually disappear after several uses.

caution ATTENTION:

  • After sailing, take the boat out from water, then turn off the power switch of remote controller, or the boat will lose control for other signal disturbances.

Operation

The trigger of the remote control is pulled back slowly, and the propeller rotates counterclockwise to make the speedboat move forward. As the trigger Angle increases, the speed increases gradually.
Operation - Step 1
The trigger of the remote control is pulled forward slowly, and the propeller rotates clockwise to make the speedboat move backward. As the trigger Angle increases, the speed increases gradually.
Operation - Step 2
In the process of moving forward, simultaneously turn the steering wheel of the remote control counterclockwise, and the tail rudders will skew to the left, and the speedboat turns to the left. As the rotation Angle of the steering wheel increases, the speedboat turns more to the left
Operation - Step 3
In the process of moving forward, simultaneously turn the steering wheel of the remote control clockwise, and the tail rudders will skew to the right, and the speedboat turns to the right. As the rotation angle of the steering wheel increases, the speedboat turns more to the left.
Operation - Step 4
If the racing yacht accidentally capsizes in the process of driving, pull the trigger of the remote control backward, let it spin up to its full force, and then push the trigger forward all the way, not touching the steering wheel at any point. This should create the necessary momentum to flip the boat back over.
Operation - Step 5

Fine Adjustment Use

  1. If you are a novice, please adjust the speed to the center position, rotate to the left to slow down, rotate to the right to speed up, choose the right speed to have fun.
  2. When the speedboat is traveling in a straight line, if it turns to the left, it can be fine-adjustment to turn slowly to the right; If to the right, you can fine-adjustment the steering slowly to the left, until the speedboat can maintain a straight line.

Safety precautions

warning Please do not touch the propeller when it is rotating, it will cause injury.

warning During using or after use of the racing yacht, the motor will produce high temperature, please do not touch, it will cause injury.

Replace propeller

If the propeller breaks and requires replacement, remove the battery from the unit. Jam the ball head seat with a tool to prevent it from rotating. With the other hand, use the packaged toolbox spare spanner to jam the hexagon nut, and turn it counterclockwise. Remove the damaged propeller and replace it with the spare propeller, then tighten the nut clockwise.
Replace propeller

Low voltage protection

Racing yacht low voltage protection:
When the boat battery is insufficient, green lights will flash indicating the boat has entered a state of low voltage protection. Retrieve the boat immediately to you to ensure its safe recovery before it loses signal with the remote control
Remote control low voltage prompt:
When the remote control battery power is close to insufficient, the red remote control power indicator light flashes slowly, reminding you to conserve the remote control battery, and only use the control to retrieve the boat before the batteries are completely depleted, so as not to lose control of the boat.
