PRODUCT FEATURES
• This child car seat is approved for "Group 2 and
3", for the transportation of children from 15 to
36 Kg in weight, and conforms to European Stan-
dard ECE R44/04.
• This approval is "Universal", which means that
the child car seat can be used on all types of
vehicles. WARNING! "Universal" means that it is
compatible with most, but not all car seats.
• This child car seat is fitted with two Ultrafix cla-
sps, which slot into the Isofix anchor points, whe-
re available in the car. These clasps provide extra
stability for the child car seat when the child is
sat inside and also when it is empty.
WARNING! The Ultrafix clasps are an additional re-
straint fixture to be used in combination with the
car safety belts: these safety belts must always be
used to restrain the child and the child car seat.
IMPORTANT WARNING
1. This is a "Universal" child restraint. It is approved
to Regulation No. 44.04 series of amendments, for
general use in vehicles, and it will fit most, but not
all car seats.
2. A correct fit is likely if the vehicle manufacturer
has declared that the vehicle is capable of accepting
a "Universal" child restraint for this age group.
3. This child restraint has been classified as "Uni-
versal" under more stringent conditions than those
that were applied to earlier designs not displaying
this notice.
4. Only suitable if the vehicle is fitted with a 3-point
static or 3-point retractor safety belt approved to
UN/ECE Regulation No. 16, or other equivalent
standards.
5. If in doubt, consult either the child restraint ma-
nufacturer or the retailer.
RESTRICTIONS AND REQUISITES REGARDING
THE USE OF THE PRODUCT AND CAR SEAT
WARNING! Read these restrictions and requisites
carefully to ensure the product and car seat are
used safely: if you don't, the safety levels cannot be
guaranteed.
• The Ultrafix clasps must always be used in com-
bination with the car seat belts. The child car
seat must never be installed using the Ultrafix
clasps on their own.
• In order to use the Ultrafix clasps, it is necessary
to check that the car is fitted with Isofix ancho-
rage points, which will be found between the
backrest and seat of the car's seat.
• This child seat is approved for carrying children
weighing from 15 to 36 kilos only.
• The car seat must be fitted with a 3-point static
or 3-point retractor safety belts approved to UN/
ECE Regulation No.16, or other equivalent stan-
dards (Diag. 1).
• Never use the child car seat on a seat that is only
equipped with a 2-point safety belt (diag. 2)
• You may find that the safety belt buckle is too
long and exceeds the foreseen height in relation
to the lower section of the child car seat (Diag.
3). In this case the child car seat must not be
installed on that specific seat, and you should
try installing it on a seat that does not have this
inconvenience. Please contact the car manufac-
turer for further information on this aspect.
• The child car seat can be fitted onto the front
passenger seat or any other back seats. Never
use this child car seat on vehicle seats which are
facing sideways or rearwards (Diag. 4)
• If the car is fitted with an adjuster to regulate the
height of the car safety belts, position it as low as
possible. Check that the car safety belt adjuster
is behind or aligned with the backrest of the car
seat (Diag. 5).
• To ensure correct installation, check that the car
seat headrest does not interfere with the child
seat backrest.
