  • Page 7 Opening the Tower Cabinet To open the Tower Cabinet, follow these steps; 1. Unlock the Rear Cover of the Tower Cabinet, as shown in the image below. Confidential and proprietary information of NCR Voyix. Use and disclose solely pursuant to company instructions.

  • Page 11 4. Attach two (2) M4 hex screws on the two (2) screw holes of the Handheld Scanner Arm, as shown in the image below. Note Ensure not to tighten the screws to leave a gap. Confidential and proprietary information of NCR Voyix. Use and disclose solely pursuant to company instructions.

For more information, refer to "Routing the 7879 Scale Display cable" on the next page Note The Remote Scale Display and its cable are not included in the kit.   • Page 14 Set aside the Rear Cover assembly for reinstallation. 4. Do the following: a. Route the cable under the Handheld Scanner arm and then into the cable access hole of the Tower Cabinet.   • Page 15 5. Lift the front handle of the Scanner/Scale and then push the back of the Scanner/Scale to the front to remove it from the Scanner Bucket, as shown in the image below. Confidential and proprietary information of NCR Voyix. Use and disclose solely pursuant to company instructions.
  • Page 16 6. Route and secure the cable along with the cable bundle on the bridge lance on the Tower Cabinet, as shown in the image below.   • Page 17 From the back of the Scanner Bucket, measure 90 cm to the cable connector. b. Connect the cable to the Scale Display port of the 7879 Scanner/Scale, as shown in the image below.   • Page 18 3. Disconnect the Scale Display cable from the 7879 Scanner/Scale. 4.   • Page 29 7. Route and secure the cable along with the cable bundle on the bridge lance on the Tower Cabinet, as shown in the image below.   • Page 30 8. From the back of the Scanner Bucket, measure 90 cm to the cable connector and then connect it to the Scale Display port of the 7895 Scanner/Scale, as shown in the image below.
