- Page 5 The PVIA10 VIA! Ten-Zone Precision Panel is an in-wall connection plate that provides power for up to ten VIA! Touch Panels. It is also the interface between VIA! Touch Panels and all other system components, providing quick, easy connections to ELAN S, Z or HD Series systems, the ELAN SC4 RS-232 and SS (System Station) Controllers, the SR1 Sense/Relay Module, or any stand-alone system.
- Page 6 Z-BUS Located on the back of the PVIA10 are two jumpers labeled "Z-BUS". In ELAN Z 630, S6 and S12 Systems, these jumpers determine how data is being transmitted from VIA! Touch Panels to the Preamp Contoller. Unless using an ELAN SC4 RS232 System Controller or SS System Controller, these jumpers should remain in the Factory Default “NO SS/SC4”...

Touch Panels to the ELAN HD Series MCU by way of corresponding punchdown connectors found on the back of the PHD12 HD Series Precision Panel (labeled VIA! 1-4, VIA! 5-8 and VIA! 9-12).
