This vehicle is provided with hy-
draulic clutch control.
CAUTION
Sudden resistance or clearance prob-
lems on the clutch lever may be due to
troubles in the hydraulic system.
For any doubt regarding the perfect
functioning of the system and in case
you are not able to carry out the usual
checking operations, contact your
Official Dealer.

CAUTION
Make sure that the cable is neither
twisted nor worn out.
Prevent water or dust from accidentally
getting into the circuit.
In case maintenance operations are to
be performed on the hydraulic circuit, it
is advisable to use latex gloves.
If the clutch fluid gets in contact with
the skin or the eyes, it can cause seri-
ous irritations.
Carefully wash the parts of your body
that get in contact with the liquid.
Consult a doctor or an oculist if the liq-
uid gets in contact with your eyes.
DO NOT DISPOSE OF THE CLUTCH
FLUID IN THE ENVIRONMENT.
KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN.
When using the clutch fluid, take care
not to spill it on the plastic and painted
parts, since it damages them.
T h e c l u t c h co n t r o l f l u i d m u s t b e
changed every two years by an
Official Dealer.
Use clutch fluid of the type specified in
the lubricant chart, see p. 90 (LUBRI-
CANT CHART).
The clutch fluid reservoir is positioned on
the left part of the handlebar, near the
clutch control lever coupling.
Before departure, check the fluid level in
the tank, see p. 35 (CLUTCH); have it
changed by an aprilia Official Dealer every
two years.
CAUTION
Do not use the vehicle if you notice fluid
leakages from the clutch control system.
