ASSEMBLY
WARNING:
If any parts are damaged or missing,

pack from the machine when assembling parts.
WARNING:
Do not attempt to modify this machine
or create accessories not recommended for use with this
mower. Any such alteration or modification is misuse and
could result in a hazardous condition leading to serious
injury.
UNPACKING
◾
Remove all the accessories from the carton.
◾
Grasp the front of mower and the lift handle at the
same time to carefully lift the mower up and out of
the carton.
ADJUSTING THE FOLDABLE HANDLE
WARNING:
Do not attempt to start the mower until
the handle has been locked at one of the three preset
operating positions: UPPER OPERATING POSITION, MIDDLE
OPERATING POSITION and LOWER OPERATING POSITION.

Press and hold the quick-adjust lever to release
the handle from the LOCKED STORAGE POSITION
(Fig. B1).

Lift the handle from its folded position, then release
the lever. Gently pivot the handle upward until you
hear and feel the lock pin engage in one of the
following different positions as shown in the Fig. B2.

Fully extend the side rails and securely close the
handle-locking clamp (Fig. B3)
NOTE:
The motor cannot be started unless:
◾
The side rails are fully extended.
◾
The green handle-locking clamp is securely closed.
◾
The handle is locked into one of the three operating
positions.
ASSEMBLING THE GRASS BAG (Fig. C1, C2, C3)
Check the grass bag before assembling, to make sure
that there is no damage.
Assemble the grass bag as illustrated.
CLIP SELECTOR KNOB (Fig. D)
Place the clip selector knob in any one of the five
positions to achieve the desired mowing results.
The knob can adjust a sliding door from the fully open,
"BAG" position to the fully closed, "MULCH" position.
By adjusting the clip selector knob, various mowing
conditions can be met.
To reposition the knob, pull the knob out of the detent
and set it to the desired position.
NOTICE:
clip selection knob from side-to-side, excessive grass
may have built up on top of the sliding door. Clear grass
beneath the mower deck after each use.

SLIDING DOOR POSITION
The sliding door can be positioned to produce different
mowing results. To learn the difference among positions,
install a grass bag and begin mowing with the clip
selector knob all the way to the "BAG" position. Check the
appearance of the lawn. As the knob is moved towards
the "MULCH" position, more grass will be recycled back
into the lawn. Adjust the clip selector knob until the
desired result is achieved. The bagging/mulching hybrid
mode will result a clean and fine cut.
