Definitions
User of the prod u cts as d escribed in this m anu al is the Original Equ ipm ent Manu factu rer
(OEM) that is d eveloping and prod u cing an X-ray im aging d evice (or „m od ality‟), u sing
the prod u ct as an com ponent to captu re im age inform ation;
End-User of the prod u cts as d escribed in this m anu al is the professional operating the
OEM equ ipm ent to perform a d iagnostic im aging rou tine;
Intended Use
The prod u cts as d escribed in this m anu al are com ponents that are u sed enclosed insid e a
User‟s system to captu re im ages in X-ray m od alities. Typical applications inclu d e, bu t are
not lim ited to, N on-Destru ctive Testing, Electronics Inspection and Com pu ted
Tom ography (CT).
Installation Warning
The User is responsible for the safe and p ru d ent installation of the d etector in their
system . All X-ray sou rces and controls, shield ing, personnel safety m onitoring d evices,
and personnel safety precau tions and training involved in the u se of this equ ipm ent are
the responsibility of the User and / or the End -User.
Safety Statement
The general safety precau tions that follow m u st be observed d u ring all phases of
installation, operation, service, repair and d isp osal of this system . Failu re to com p ly w ith
these precau tions, or w ith sp ecific w arnings noted in this m anu al, violate s the safety
stand ard s of d esign, m anu factu re and the intend ed u sed of this system . Teled yne DALSA

operation.
To ensu re personnel safety, it is necessary that a rad iation m eter w ill be u sed to check for
rad iation leakage after installation of the d igital cam era in the end u sers system .

installation of X-ray shield ing, X-ray shield enclosu re testing, or safe and pru d ent
