Proprietary CBT 7800914 Issue 10 Thermal Management The maximum operating ambient temperature (measured 25 mm in front of the Front Panel air intakes) is 50°C. The built-in Fan Module must be fitted and connected at all times. The installation location must allow air to enter the front panel intakes and to circulate freely around the Heatsink, and with clear space for the fan exhaust above the rear panel heatsink.
  • Page 21: Laser Safety

Proprietary CBT 7800914 Issue 10 4 Laser safety The QuantX and ODH-5X IUs generate Class 3R invisible laser radiation. When correctly connected to an optical fibre, the emitted radiation is completely enclosed within the optical fibre cable, however, if the continuity of the optical fibre is broken (deliberately or accidentally) then Invisible Laser Radiation will become accessible.
