MACHINE SETTING

We are not liable for any damages in case of:

• incorrect use and other uses than the intended purposes;
• repairs performed at unauthorised service centres;
• tampering with the power cord;
• tampering with any part of the machine;
• use of spare parts and accessories which are not original;
• no water softening;
• storage in rooms below 4°C (39,2°F);
• use below 5°C (41°F);
• use over 40°C (104°F);
• using non-compatible capsules.

In any of these cases, the warranty is cancelled.

STARTING THE MACHINE

Place the coffee machine on a flat and stable surface, far from water and heat sources. Machine damages due to non-observance of these indications are not covered by warranty.

1. Lift and remove the cover, then the water tank itself.
2. Rinse the tank before using it.
3. Fill the water tank up to the MAX level indicated, using only fresh drinking water. Fit the tank back into place, then close by using the cover.
   

If the water tank has not been fitted in correctly, the beverage cannot be supplied and the pod holding tray cannot be opened.

Hot water and other liquids can damage the tank and the machine. Do not operate the machine without water: make sure that there is enough water in the tank.

PREPARING THE COFFEE

COFFEE DISPENSING

Make sure that the switch-on/ stand-by/ supply lights up to a steady white light.

Only Lavazza pods A MODO MIO (or any other compatible pod) shall be put Into the pod holding tray. Do not insert fingers or other objects.

Single-dose capsules are prepared to dispense one coffee/product. DO NOT use the capsules more than once. Inserting two or more capsules can cause the machine to malfunction.

1. Place the cup under the coffee dispenser for a classic espresso.
   
2. Remove the drip tray to use cups of different sizes for a long coffee.
   

If, during the dispensing cycle power supply is interrupted or water is exhausted within the tank proceed as follows:

• Restore the power supply or fill the water tank up to the indicated MAX level.
• Press the switch-on/supply button and wait for the button to light up to a steady white light.
• Replace the pod inside the pod fitting compartment with a new one.
• Restart the coffee dispensing.

3. Remove the pod holding tray from the machine.
   
4. Put a Lavazza A MODO MIO pod (or any other compatible pod) into the pod holding tray.
   
5. Fit the pod holding tray back into the machine.
   
6. Press the switch-on/stand-by supply button then wait for the desired amount to be supplied. Press the button again to stop the supply.
