USED TOOLS AND PARTS

Only a technician certified for this lift should install this lift. General required knowledge can be found in the 1100 Technical Manual.

1. Check that all the components of the concerning kits are present. Remove the key from the switch {A}. Disconnect the charger {B}.
   
2. Ensure good and sufficient tools.
   

UNINSTALL COVERS

1. Unscrew the two nuts.
   
2. Remove the upper tilt chassis cover.
   
3. Unscrew the bottom tilt chassis cover {A}. Remove the bottom tilt chassis cover {C}. Slide hereby the two ribs of the cover out the recesses of the frame {B}.
   

POWERED SWIVEL KIT

1. Disconnect all other connections of the seat looms.
   
2. Remove the securing bolt from the bottom of the seat.
   
3. Remove the seat.
   
4. Install the bracket+motor on the flange of the stem and fasten the bolts (3 Nm | 26.55 Lb-In){B}.
   

TIP: use a clamp to keep the parts together.

ONLY UPGRADE

5. Install the spacer. Push the spacer outwards{A}. Fasten the spacer{B}.
   
6. Install the gearwheel part.
   
7. Loosen the release.
   
8. Remove the swivel levers.
   

9. Carefully lower the seat onto the seat support tube, keeping the seat parallel to the tilt chassis, until the profiled cam under the seat comes into contact with the switch.
   
10. Refit the securing bolt and tighten firmly.
    
11. Remove the seat cover.
    
12. Run the seat cable through the seat support tube.
    
13. Cut out the appropriate groove in the cover.
    
14. Install the release button.
    
15. Run the swivel release cable through the seat support tube.
    
16. Refit the cover{A} and tighten the screws{B}. Be careful with the wiring.
    
17. Run the seat loom in front of the seat support and through the tilt chassis.
    
18. Fasten the looms with a tie-wrap.
    
19. Connect the seat cable to the PCB cable {A8}{A}.Connect the seat cable to the swivel cable {A9}{B}.
    
20. Connect the earth wire to the chassis.
    

PCB

POWERED OPTIONS KIT (LEFT):

LEFT

1. Remove the backing of the upper adhesive strip of the PCB {A}. Place and position the PCB: right when the stem is left, left when the stem is right. Insert the round ribs of the PCB in the designated slots {B}. Press the PCB firmly on the back of the tilt chassis {C}.
   
2. Connect the power loom on the powered option PCB (A16). Be careful with touching the print when connecting wires on the PCB and placing the PCB.
   
3. Connect the swivel motor loom with the PCB (A18) {A}. Connect the swivel release loom with the swivel motor loom(A19) {B}.
   

RIGHT

1. Remove the backing of the upper adhesive strip of the PCB{A}. Place and position the PCB: right when the stem is left, left when the stem is right. Insert the round ribs of the PCB in the designated slots{B}. Press the PCB firmly on the back of the tilt chassis {C}.
   
2. Connect the power loom on the powered option PCB(A16). Be careful with touching the print when connecting wires on the PCB and placing the PCB.
   
3. Connect the swivel motor loom with the PCB (A18){A}. Connect the swivel release loom with the swivel motor EN loom(A19){B}.
   

POWERED FOOTREST KIT

1. Unscrew the detection plate (T 20){A}. Slide the detection plate downwards out of the tilt chassis {B}.
   
2. Disconnect the dectection switch (A21 ){A}. Unscrew the switch {B} and remove the switch{C}.
   
3. Slide the bracket of the footrest motor in the slots of the tilt chassis{A}. Be careful with the other footrest wiring. Fasten the screw of the footrest motor (T 20) {B}.
   
4. Refit the switch {A} and fasten the screws of the switch {B}. Run the loom of the switch through the tilt chassis {C}.
   
5. Straighten the wires of the switch{A} and attached them, together with the other footrest wires, with a tie-wrap, EN to the tilt chassis {B}.
   
6. Slide the detection plate back in the tilt chassis. The arm of the plate comes between the plastic sleeve and ring.
   
7. Fasten the screw of the detection plate (T 20) {B}.
   
   Notice that the plastic bearing is still in the right position {A}. Check if the detection plate can move freely {C}.
8. Reconnect the detection switch (A21).
   
9. Connect the footrest motorloom to the PCB (A17).
   

REINSTALL COVERS

1. Fit the bottom tilt chassis cover {A}. Slide hereby the two ribs of the cover into the recesses of the frame {B}. Secure the cover using two screws {B}.
   
2. In case of installation of the powered swivel, cut out the appropriate groove in the upper tilt chassis cover.
   
3. Fit the upper tilt chassis cover; the pins of the cover in the small holes of the seat support {A}.
   
4. Fasten the cover.
   

CHECK

1. Check the powered swivel function.
   
2. Check the powered footrest function.
   
3. Check the release button: press the release button and swivel the seat manually.
