When the lift is on the end limit ramps and it is permanently displaying 8/SL or 9/SL regardless of call status (no movement from either lift or track), it is advised to ‘un-pair’ the 1100 from the slide track by removing the RF PCB from the 1100PCB, resetting the power pack by disconnecting battery and charger then reconnecting.

Handicare 1100 Action Display Action The batteries Two 12V 2,6 Ah maintenance-free lead-acid batteries are used. Once installed and there is power on the lift, the accelerometer on the printed circuit checks if the lift is right handed or left handed. So it is not necessary to change anything on the remotes and joystick.

The lift wont drive - at this point fix the lift depending on the fault code – the fault is in the lift not the track, the track cant move if the lift doesn’t move. The display says n05L – this code means that the 1100 has lost the connection to the battery box 125 and needs to be re-paired/re-calibrated.

UK, US, HHHW, dealer premises. If you have a motor fault on an 1100 that is paired to a slide track, the motor fault code will not appear on the display, the lift will simply be in a breakdown mode and likely only showing 85L or 95L even without putting in a call to move.
Rescuing the user Instructions for rescuing a user seated on a chair lift of the type Handicare 1100 that is still at the top of the stairs. Check the status of the stairlift via the diagnostic display. Remove faults in the stair lift that could pose a danger to the user.
