Panorama shooting

Make sure that the edges of the pictures overlap, then take
pictures.
• Focus, exposure and white balance are set by the first picture. Do not
select an extremely bright subject (such as the sun) for the first picture.
• You cannot adjust the zoom after the first picture.
• Panorama shooting is possible for up to 10 pictures.
Keeping the area in the frame at the edge of the screen in mind, position the camera
so that the same area appears in the frame for the next picture.Compose the picture
so that the section that appeared at the right edge of the previous picture (or the left
edge if you are connecting pictures from right to left) appears at the left edge of the
next picture (or the right edge if you are connecting pictures from right to left).
• When you have taken 10 pictures, a
warning mark appears.

Press e to finish panorama shooting.
• The frame on the screen disappears and the camera returns to the
normal shooting mode.
• The panorama mode is only available with Olympus CAMEDIA-
brand cards.
Note
• During panorama shooting, the flash, sequential shooting (i,
j, k, 7), program shift and frame assist shooting are
not available.
• Images are saved in JPEG format when panorama shooting is
done in the TIFF mode. The size of the image does not change.
• Panorama shooting is not available when the Record mode is set to
RAW.
• If the mode dial is operated during panorama shooting, the camera
cancels the panorama mode and returns to normal shooting.
• The camera itself cannot connect panorama pictures. The
CAMEDIA Master software is necessary to connect the pictures.
