    Installation - General Suction Conditions 5. Remove any material that has overflowed and tighten the venting screw. The pump is self-priming when certain conditions are met. However, with higher viscosity media, the material must be introduced first (pre-pressure). For more infor- mation on the suction conditions of specific material, refer to information provided by the material supplier.
