To set the Technicolor DGA0122 modem to modem-only (bridge) mode, follow these steps:
1. Reset the Router – Disconnect the DSL cable to prevent automatic configuration. 2. Connect to the Router – Use a computer connected to one of the LAN ports. The computer should obtain an IP address in the 192.168.1.x range. 3. Access the Admin Interface – Open a web browser and go to `http://192.168.1.1`. Log in using "admin" and the Access Password found on the base of the router. 4. Enter Configuration Mode – Click the "i" icon in the top-left "System Info" box. 5. Modify Settings – Click the "Configuration" tab, then scroll down and click the "Setup your Gateway" button. 6. Disable Internet Access – Navigate to the "Internet Access" card, click "Configuration," then disable the internet access toggle, and save changes. 7. Connect Third-Party Equipment – Use the yellow LAN port to connect your own PPPoE router or firewall, which will handle the internet connection.
This process configures the DGA0122 as a bridge, allowing another device to manage the internet connection.
