    HARDWARE IDENTIFICATION CHART This chart is provided to help identify the hardware used in the assembly process. Place the washers, the end of the bolts, or screws on the circles to check for the correct diameter. Use the small scale to check the length of the bolts and screws.

    ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Place all parts from the box in a cleared area and position them on the floor in front of you. Remove all packing materials from your area and place them back into the box. Do not dispose of the packing materials until assembly is completed.
  • Page 7 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS STEP 3 Attach the SEAT FRAME(9) onto the LOWER UPRIGHT(2) with BOLTS(M10x1.5x105mm)(50), WASHERS (M10)(53), and NYLOCK NUT(M10x1.5)(55). Do not tighten the bolts. STEP 4 Attach the SEAT SUPPORT(10) onto the SEAT FRAME(9) and the LOWER UPRIGHT(2) with BOLTS (M10x1.5x20mm)(45) and WASHERS(M10)(53).
  • Page 8 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Adjustment Brackets STEP 6 Attach the SEAT CUSHION(12) onto the SEAT FRAME(9) with BOLTS(M8x1.25x50mm)(43) and WASHERS(M8)(52). STEP 7 Refer to the inset drawing. Attach the BACK SUPPORT(6) onto the back of the BACK CUSHION(13) with BOLTS(M8x1.25x45mm)(42) and WASHERS(M8)(52). Attach the ADJUSTMENT BAR(7) onto the BACK SUPPORT(6) with BOLT(M8x1.25x75mm)(44), WASHERS(M8)(52), and NYLOCK NUT(M8x1.25)(54).
  • Page 9 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS STEP 9 Attach the LEG CURL FRAME(11) onto the SEAT FRAME(9) with BOLT(M10x1.5x65mm)(47), WASHERS(M10)(53), and NYLOCK NUT(M10x1.5)(55). Do not over tighten the bolt, as the LEG CURL FRAME(11) must be able to pivot smoothly. STEP 10 Slide a FOAM PAD(15) onto one end of the PAD TUBE(14), then insert the other end of the PAD TUBE(14) through the hole on the SEAT FRAME(9).
  • Page 10 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Hook Hook STEP 11 Attach the TENSION POSTS(8) to both sides of the UPRIGHT(3) with BOLTS(M10x1.5x172mm)(51), WASHERS(M10)(53), POST SPACERS(30), and NYLOCK NUTS(M10x1.5)(55). STEP 12 There are three different sizes of BUNGEE CORDS, SMALL(26), MEDIUM(27), and LARGE(28). Attach the BUNGEE CORDS(26)(27)(28) to the TENSION POSTS(8) with three PULLEYS(16), two PLASTIC SPACERS(19), BOLTS(M10x1.5x85mm)(48), and WASHERS(M10)(53) on each side as shown.
  • Page 11 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS RIGHT LEFT STEP 13 Attach a PIVOT PULLEY SET(25) to the LEFT SUPPORT FRAME(4) with WASHER(M8)(52) and NYLOCK NUT(M8x1.25)(54). Run the EYELET END of the RESISTANCE CABLE(21), 1240mm (48.8") long, through the PIVOT PULLEY SET(25) and connect to the TRIANGLE RING(29) with the HOOK(60). Hook the TRIANGLE RING(29) to the upper ends of the BUNGEE CORDS(26)(27)(28) with the PLASTIC HOOKS.

    OPERATIONAL INSTRUCTIONS Multiple Functions: Depending on the way the cables are connected , the Band Flex XS can be set for different functions as follows. USING THE HAND STRAP FUNCTION Connect two CONNECTION CABLES(59) 310mm (12.2") long, to the RESISTANCE CABLES(21) on both sides with the HOOKS(60).

    OPERATIONAL INSTRUCTIONS USING THE LAT BAR FUNCTION Refer to the inset drawing. Swing the CONNECTION CABLES(59) upward 310mm (12.2") long, and connect to the LAT BAR CABLE(20) with the HOOKS(60). Attach the LAT BAR(32) onto the LAT BAR CABLE(20) with a HOOK(60). For some exercises, the CHAIN(34) should be attached between the LAT BAR(32) and the LAT BAR CABLE(20) with two HOOKS(60).

    Special attention should be given to the following: Verify that the Warning Label is in place and easy to read. Call Stamina Products immediately (1-800-375-7520) for a replacement Warning Label if the Warning Label is missing or damaged.
