Fast JPEG Quality/Image Quality

The Fast JPEG Quality/Image Quality option lets you choose the JPEG image
compression ratio for JPEG-implemented scanners. If the JPEG image type
is not selected in the Type options, this option will not appear.
Using the Fast JPEG Quality/Image Quality:
1. The Fast JPEG Quality/Image Quality is located under the AIC tools
(located in the Settings window).
2. From the Fast JPEG Quality/Image Quality option, click on the Type
arrow.
3. When the options menu appear; choose the compression level you
desire. (Medium is the default).
Notes: The higher the selected image quality is, the lower the
compression will be. Not all Microtek scanner models support the
JPEG image format. If your scanner supports JPEG compression,
you can choose the JPEG image quality that reflects the
compression ratio you desire. However, the image type should be
set under RGB, otherwise; JPEG compression will not
