6. Troubleshooting

Maintenance performed by the user is limited to changing Main- or hand unit,
battery unit, coaxial cable and charger. The following information covers common
problems and offers suggested solutions.

6.1 Main Unit

Problem
LED doesn't light up
green.
LED lights up green,
but when the
trigger is pressed the
LED doesn't light up
orange.
LED lights.
LED does not light
or does not light
at the same time
as the Seal lamp
of the Hand Unit.
LED is fast
flashing red.
LED is red/green
blink.
LED is fast

The battery is protected with a self-resetting auto fuse against overtemperature (70

Probable cause
No voltage.
Other cause.
No connection.
Hand unit defective.
Coaxial cable defect.

The Main unit is too hot.

Check battery charge level.
Contact your local C.M. representative.
Check coaxial cable connection.
Change Hand unit.
Change coaxial cable.
Contact your local C.M. representative.
Turn the power switch off and wait about 10
minutes, and then try again. If still flashing,
contact your local C.M. representative.
Contact your local C.M. representative.
Check that the tube is inserted correctly.
Check that the tube is not wet.
Check that the electrodes are dry.
Contact your local C.M. representative.
Recharge battery. See 2.3.2.
