DPL802 Smith Machine| Assembly Guide
Assembly Requirements
Precor recommends at least two people for this installation. DO NOT
attempt assembly by yourself.
When assembling the equipment, we recommend you:
• Follow the assembly instructions in order.
• Unpack the box(es) and assemble the equipment close to where you plan
to use it.
• Locate the equipment at least 40 inches (1 meter) away from walls or fur-
niture on either side of the equipment, and 40 inches (1 meter) away from
objects behind or in front of the equipment.
• Assemble the equipment on a solid, flat surface so it remains level and
stable.
• Do not fully tighten fasteners until instructed to do so.
• DO NOT move equipment without assistance.
Required Tools
• Torque wrench with torque range to at least 150 ft-lb (206 N-m) and fits
the following hex bits: 6, 8, and 10 mm
• Socket wrench sets, metric and standard, plus extensions
• Open-end wrench sets, metric and standard
• Hex wrench sets, metric and standard, plus extensions
• Philips screwdriver
Dimensions W = 2130 mm/84 inches; H = 2213 mm/87.2 inches; L = 1477 mm/58.2 inches
Net Weight = 413 lbs/187.4 kg
Max load weight = 300 lbs/136.1 kg per side (net load 600 lbs/272.2 kg)

Frame Assembly
1. Attach left side frame to rear cross frame
CAUTION Lay a protective cloth on the ground to protect the paint
on standing frames during this step.
Over a protective cloth, have your assistant hold the left side frame up and attach the
rear cross frame using:

2 14 14 M12 nylon lock nuts
NOTE Hand-tighten only.
