Measuring ranges from -30 °C to 200 °C.
1. Description
SIKA industrial thermometers are available
in three sizes (200, 150, 110 mm) and two
versions (straight, ∢ 90°).

Intended use:
Use the thermometer only for temperature
measurement in plants or machines.

2. Safety information
Read this guide carefully and follow
the instructions.
Before installation, check the suitability
of the thermometer for your application.
This applies to the measuring range, the
immersion tube design, the immersion
tube material, the sealing material and the
installation conditions. With this inspection,
the risk is transferred to you and our
warranty expires.
Installation, operation and maintenan-
ce must be carried out by fully qualified
personnel.
Observe the applicable regulations on
accident prevention and safety at work.
Never use the thermometer as a
handle or stepping surface. Do not subject
it to any other mechanical stresses.
Only use the thermometer if it is in
perfect condition.
CAUTION! High temperature!
The casing can become hot during
operation.
Never touch the hot thermometer.
CAUTION! Risk of injury!
Never remove an immersion tube
from a pressurised system.
CAUTION! Risk of injury!
The thermometer insert is fragile.
Do not press on the thermometer in-
sert with your fingers.

front, this will visually magnify the in-
dicator liquid.

4. Installation
Correct installation of the thermometer
is necessary for precise temperature
measurement.
Observe the following installation instruc-
tions:

CAUTION! Risk of injury!
Hot medium can leak out if unsuitable
sealing materials are used. Only use
suitable sealing materials.
ATTENTION! Material damage!
Unsuitable
sealing
cause damage to the equipment and
contamination of the environment.
Only use suitable sealing materials.
Use a sealing material that is suitable
for the temperature range and resis-
tant to the medium to be measured.
Before mounting:
Before starting work, check that the requi-
rements for mounting the thermometer are
met:
The plant is switched off and
depressurised.
The plant has cooled down to
ambient temperature.
A threaded socket is available at a
suitable location in the plant.
A suitable sealing material is used.
Only use suitable tools of the appropriate
size for mounting.
