To reset the counter of the image transfer roller

Connect the power cord to the printer and turn on the printer.

Press the On Line key in order to take the printer offline.

Press the Menu key repeatedly until the

Press the Enter key again to reset the counter of the image trans-
fer roller. Make sure that the

Use the one of the following procedures to make sure that the
counter has been reset.
• Press the On Line key to take the printer offline and make sure
that "100% REMAINED" is displayed instead of "MAINTE-
NANCE REQ" on the MAINTENANCE menu.
• Press the On Line key to take the printer offline and print a con-
figuration page from the TEST PRINT MENU. Make sure that
the "Transfer Roller Counter" displays "100% REMAINED" on
the COUNTER field.
