CAUTION
Risk of infection due to inadequate disinfection
Inadequate disinfection encourages the growth of bacteria and thus increases the risk of
infection.
• Observe the specified mixing proportions and the specified treatment time.
• Ensure that all components are completely submerged in the solution for the whole of
the treatment time. There must not be any air pockets or bubbles.
If a disinfectant without a cleaning function is used, the following procedure must be per-
formed twice: the first time with a cleaning agent, and then with the disinfectant.
EQUIPMENT:
The method has been validated in Europe using:
– Cleaning: Korsolex® Endo-Cleaner 0.5%, 5 min, 50°C ( pH-neutral, enzymatic)
– Disinfection: Korsolex® Basic 4%, 30 min., room temperature (based on the active ingredi-
ents: aldehyde donor, aldehyde)
PROCEDURE:
• Clean and disinfect all individual parts with a solution prepared according to the manufac-
turer's instructions. In case of visible soiling, use a medium-soft brush (e.g. a toothbrush)
which is used exclusively for this purpose.
If the recommended application period is exceeded significantly, the plastic parts may
take on the smell of the medium used.
RINSING:
CAUTION
Risk of allergic reactions and irritation of the mucous membrane by disinfectants
Disinfectants can trigger allergic reactions or irritation of the mucous membrane on con-
tact with the skin.
• Rinse the product thoroughly to ensure that no residues of the disinfectant remain on
the PARI product.
• Rinse off all parts thoroughly in running water at about 15 °C for 3 minutes.
