Where уои place the IC-28A/E in your vehicle is not critical. The
location should be accessible and convenient to reach from the
driver's seat. There are numerous mounting possibilities since the
transceiver is so compact. |n general, the mounting bracket provides
a guide for the installation location.
Keep the following items in mind when planning the mounting
location:
e Avoid locations where hot or cold air can blow directly on the unit
or where there are large temperature variations.
e Avoid mounting the transceiver where it will hinder the normal
operation of the vehicle.
eSecurely mount the transceiver with the supplied bracket to
minimize vibration.
The installation angle of the IC-28A/E can be varied by approxi-
mately 18 degrees. Adjust the angle for the clearest view from the
operating position. |
