What you need to know about adding VRAM

The video memory available to monitors connected to the built-in video monitor ports is
increased by installing video memory modules. The systems come with built-in video
circuitry and 1MB of VRAM. VRAM is upgradeable to 2 MB or 4 MB.
The computer has three VRAM slots on the motherboard, near the front panel, (see the
following motherboard illustration); the computer comes with 1 MB VRAM built into the
motherboard. You can increase the VRAM to 2 MB by installing one 1 MB VRAM module,
or to 4 MB by installing three 1 MB VRAM modules in the unoccupied VRAM slots on the
motherboard.
