When you update the firmware, the current settings will be initialized. If you want to use them after updating the firmware, save them to the instruments preset. For details of the preset see “Instruction Manual for LV5600W / LV7600W”. Downloading Firmware Apply the procedure below when downloading the firmware. -

LV5600W / LV7600W Firmware Update Procedure Connecting the LAN Cable To update the firmware, the ETHERNET 1 and ETHERNET 2 ports on the rear panel must be connected to the network. If ETHERNET 1 and ETHERNET 2 are connected to network devices in operation, update them as they are. - Page 5 LV5600W / LV7600W Firmware Update Procedure UPDATE Apply the procedure below when updating the firmware. Turn on the LV5600W / LV7600W. Connect the USB memory containing the firmware to the USB connector of the LV5600W / LV7600W. Confirm that the USB icon appears in the top right of the screen.
- Page 6 The update is complete when the measurement screen appears. Confirm that the firmware version of the LV5600W / 7600W is correct. Confirm that “FIRMWARE” in [SYS] > [F3] SYSTEM INFO is the updated version. Remove the USB memory from the USB connector.
