Using the Special Scene Modes

FOLIAGE
Use this mode to record images with
flowers, leaves or trees.
BEACH
Use this mode to record on a sunny beach.
It prevents the subject from being
underexposed.
SPOTLIGHT
Use this mode to record spotlit scenes.
1. Set the camcorder to CAMERA•

A list of Special Scene modes appears.
4. Turn the SET dial to select a Special Scene mode
and press the SET dial.
The symbol of the selected mode appears.
Snow/Beach mode:
- The subject may become overexposed on cloudy days or in shaded places.
Check the image on the screen.
- The picture may not appear smooth when played back.
Fireworks mode:
To avoid camcorder shake, we recommend using a tripod.
