    Land preparation Positioning Define the location of the swimming pool according to your municipality’s regulations. Install a stake to mark the desired height for the pool. Tip: It is highly recommended to install the pool 2 inches higher than the top level of the land surrounding it.

    Assemble the structure around its entire perimeter, leaving space for walking, if applicable. Accessories Important: Assemble the bottom drains, water returns and filtration system according to the manufacturers' assembly instructions. Install the bottom drains, the water returns and the skimmer in their respective locations and connect the piping.

    Tip: Install water returns at a height of 16˝ from the top to promote circulation. Alignment Measure the diagonals of the pool to ensure it is square. When you are sure of its positioning, insert nails into the bottom of the panels to secure them to the ground.

    Concrete Inside the pool, draw a line 1˝ from the bottom of the wall around the entire perimeter. On the exterior perimeter of the pool, pour a crown of concrete 6˝ thick and 20˝ wide, to properly cover the bottom of the support brackets and the nails.

    Tip: Use the line at the bottom of the panels to help you distribute the concrete evenly. Backfilling After allowing concrete to dry for 24 to 48 hours, backfill the excavation with ¾˝ clean stone. Liner installation Crowning Install the coping starting from one side of the steps. Cut the back of the crowning and bend it to make the corners.

    At every 16˝ and at the crowning joints, install and screw the plastic brackets to align and solidify the crowning. Preparation Use a trowel to remove any imperfections on the concrete bottom and splashes on the pool walls. Tip: If applicable, install the gaskets according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Apply masking tape to each panel joint and to the bottom of the coping.

    Sweep the bottom of the pool to remove any dust and rocks. Installation Place the folded liner in the centre of the pool, orienting it according to the indicator sticker. Gently unfold the liner and bring the edge close to the base of the walls. Install the liner in the coping groove around the perimeter of the pool, aligning the corners of the liner with the pool corners.

    Finalization Unhook the liner in one place and slide a vacuum hose under it. Turn on the vacuum cleaner to remove air and cause the liner to adhere to the wall surface. Feel the middle of the liner to find the bottom drains. Then screw the ring and its gasket against the liner before cutting out the centre of the ring, then screw on the drain cover.
