OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
NOTICE
Before putting a new appliance into operation, you should wipe it thoroughly from the outside with a damp cloth and
wash all removable parts in warm water for hygienic reasons.
Exercise caution when cleaning.
The appliance and its accessories are not suitable for use in a microwave oven. The appliance contains sharp parts.
Do not leave the appliance running continuously for more than 10 minutes. The average juicing time per container is
30-60 seconds, i.e. a maximum of 10 containers. After that, a 15 minute break is recommended and continued operation
until the motor has cooled down.
To prevent damage to the motor, the motor temperature sensor will automatically shut down the appliance in the event
of overheating.
Tips for preparing juice
• Use only the freshest fruits and vegetables.
• Fruits and vegetables contain valuable vitamins and minerals that degrade when in contact with oxygen and
light. Drink the juice immediately after pressing. If it is necessary to store the juice for several hours, put it in the
refrigerator in a porcelain or glass container. Adding lemon juice will improve its preservation ability.
• You can use the pulp to prepare other dishes (jams, compotes, etc.).
• If the fruit is very watery (watermelons, etc.), add it slowly to squeeze as much juice as possible.
• If you juice very ripe fruit, there may be little juice. In this case, it is essential that you process the fruit very slowly so
that the juice can flow out more easily and the appliance does not clog.
• It is common that when processing apples and bananas, the juice squeezed is not completely pure.
Juicing
Note: The appliance can only be started when the lid and the lid lock (pressure clip) are properly seated.
1. Place the appliance on a stable surface.
2. Place the pulp container on the side of the appliance body.
3. Place the bowl with the juice outlet on the upper part of the appliance body.
4. Insert the rotary strainer into the drain bowl by pushing down on the top edge of the strainer.
5. Put on the top lid and secure it with the lid closure (pressure clip).
6. Place the juice container on the side of the appliance body (under the juice drain).
7. Plug the assembled appliance into an electrical outlet.
8. Use the speed switch to select the desired speed according to the type of food to be juiced:
• "I" = lower speed level
• "II" = higher speed level
9. Slowly push the washed pieces of fruit and vegetables into the inlet opening and press them through the pusher.
You can insert apples and pears cut into larger pieces. You do not need to peel them or remove the cores. Peel
the citrus fruits, peel the grapes first and insert the individual balls. When juicing currants, you can put in whole
bunches. It is difficult to extract juice from banana, avocado, blackberries, figs, eggplant, strawberries, etc.
CAUTION! Always use a pusher to push food through the inlet opening. Never push food through with your
fingers, a fork, spoon, knife or other object.
10. Continuously check the amount of juice in the juice container and whether the juice drain is clear. The juice drain
must not be blocked! Also check continuously the amount of pulp in the juice container or stuck on the top lid.
If this pulp needs to be removed, switch off the appliance, wait until the rotary strainer stops and unplug the
appliance from the power outlet. Then release the top lid by folding down the lid pressure clip, clean it, empty the
pulp container, clean the rotary strainer and remove any remaining pulp from the juice drain cover. To continue
juicing, reinstall all parts of the appliance and connect the appliance to the mains.
WARNING! Clean the appliance immediately if the noise level of the appliance increases significantly during juicing
or if there is a strong vibration!

11. After use, switch off the appliance, disconnect it from the electrical outlet, remove the remaining pulp and clean
the individual components (see the Cleaning and maintenance section).
Warning: The finished juice is intended for immediate consumption because it oxidises very quickly in the air,
which may deteriorate its taste, change colour and, above all, reduce its nutritional value. Apple or pear juice turns
brown quickly, you can slow down the process by adding a few drops of lemon juice.
The juice container is not designed to preserve juice or other foods!
When juicing fruit or vegetables that contain little water (older apples, kiwis, etc.), it is recommended
to continuously insert harder fruit and vegetables, such as carrots, to clean the container, strainer and
drain hole.
CAUTION!
Insert only drained and properly washed fruit or vegetables.
Do not use fruit with stones, nuts or ice cubes.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before each cleaning of the appliance, unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet!
To clean the surface of the appliance, use only a damp cloth, no detergents or hard objects, as they can damage the
surface of the appliance!
Wash the removable parts in warm water and mild detergent. Then rinse and dry thoroughly.
Never clean the appliance body under running water, do not rinse it or immerse it in water!
1. Open the lid cap (pressure clip).
2. Open the top lid.
3. Pull upwards to release the drain pan together with the rotary strainer.
4. Remove and clean the pulp container.
5. After cleaning the removable parts, reassemble the appliance by reversing the procedure.
