E Fuse replacement
If a fuse blows, check for the cause, then replace the
blown fuse in the DC power cable with a new one.

If the power does not come ON even after fuse replace-
ment, the internal fuse may be blown.
Ask your Icom
Dealer for internal fuse replacement.

CAUTION:
DISCONNECT the DC power cable
from the DC power supply or battery when chang-
ing the fuse.
E CPU backup battery
The IC-77 has a lithium backup battery for retaining
channel information.
When this battery is exhausted,
channels are erased.
The usual life of the battery is
more than 5 years.
Ask your Icom Dealer or Service Center for backup bat-
tery replacement and re-programming.
