    If your Showtec device fails to work properly, discontinue use immediately. Pack the unit securely (preferably in the original packing material), and return it to your Showtec dealer for service.

    • The maximum ambient temperature t = 45°C must never be exceeded. • The relative humidity must not exceed 50 % with an ambient temperature of 45° C. • If this device is operated in any other way, than the one described in this manual, the product may suffer damages and the warranty becomes void.

    Set Up and Operation Follow the directions below, as they pertain to your preferred operation mode. Before plugging the unit in, always make sure that the power supply matches the product specification voltage. Do not attempt to operate a 120V specification product on 230V power, or vice versa. Damages caused by non-observance are not subject to warranty.

    Connect the cable as follow: – Red Yellow – Yellow White – White Blue -- Blue Connect the stripped cable from the controller (42055) to the stripped cable from the 42050. Be sure to use shrink-sleeve. Note: Do not use a connector, because these are not waterproof. FUNCTIONS When, after turning the power on, there is no external input signal within 10 seconds, the software of the controller will automatically set up controller #1 address as the master controller.

    #2 address holds 4, 5, 6 channels. CH 1 = DMX 1, 2, 3; CH2 = DMX 4, 5, 6, etc. Maintenance The Showtec DMX Controller requires almost no maintenance. However, you should keep the unit clean. Disconnect the mains power supply, and then wipe the cover with a damp cloth. Do not immerse in liquid.
