SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS 17. This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry and similar indoor locations, never locate the heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container. 18. Hyperthermia can result in death. Symptoms of hyperthermia include high body temperature, headache, nausea, vomiting, tiredness, dizziness, fainting, and rapid pulse.
- Page 6 32. This heater’s cord has a plug as shown below. Adapter as shown at C is available for connecting three-blade grounding-type plugs to two-slot receptacles. The green grounding lug extending from the adapter must be connected to a permanent ground such as a properly grounded outlet box.

2.1 Safety and Fire Protection Never install your heater on a combustible surface (plastics, nylon, cardboard, etc.) The heater is hot in use. To avoid burns, do not touch the hot surfaces. Do not cover your appliance and do not hang any clothing over the heater or do not place any clothing on or near the appliance. -

3.2 Installation UFO Star Series can only be used horizontally. For UK-15 and UK-30 models, Tip-Over Protection will engage if the heater is mounted vertically. 1. For wall mounting, drill four 8 mm diameter holes on the wall to place where the unit will be installed, with the distances shown above. -

5. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 5.1 Thermostat Controlled Model (For S-15 Model Only) The thermostat is adjusted depending on the desired room temperature. To heat cold rooms, the thermostat (temperature control knob) is set to the highest setting. Your device will operate continuously when the thermostat is at the highest setting. After the room reaches the desired temperature, the thermostat is turned to the desired level and it is activated and deactivated. -

5.2 Remote Control Buttons and Functions (For UK-15 & UK-30 Model Only) All functions can be controlled by the keys on the remote control and the LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) that guides through the functions. Some functions can also be moved with the buttons on the front of the remote control. -

3- Change the batteries in the same way depicted above. The screen of the remote control starts functioning after inserting the batteries. UFO logo and flashing clock indicator start appearing on the screen. Make sure that the heater is plugged in and “H” is seen on the display screen which indicates the heater is functioning. - Page 14 Set your Sleep timer again in case of turning off and on the heater. Once you set your On/Off time, such functions will operate in daily set times. The heater is to be in stand-by mode to operate On timer. Clock and UFO logo keeps functioning in Stand-By mode.

5.5 Manual Operation with Control Panel 1 LED 2 Power Level Indicator 4 Power Mode Button 5 ON / OFF When the heater is plugged, H0 appears on the control panel indicating that the heater is in stand-by mode. The 2nd digit of the power level indicates the increasing power level by 1 to 5. The On/Off button which is located over the On/Off symbol, simply turns on and turns off (Stand by) the heater. -

1- Before any maintenance or cleaning of your heater, be sure to unplug the power cord for your safety. 2- To clean the reflector of your UFO STAR SERIES infrared heaters, remove the unit's grid. To do so, unscrew the plastic cover of the housing using a star screwdriver (Philips). -

8. LIMITED WARRANTY This warranty is valid for 2 years, as stated in the technical data. 3.2 Installation La série UFO Star ne peut être utilisée qu'horizontalement. Pour les modèles UK-15 et UK-30, la protection contre le basculement s'enclenche si l'appareil est monté verticalement. Pour le montage mural, percez quatre trous de 8 mm de diamètre sur le mur à l'endroit où l'appareil sera installé, en respectant les distances indiquées ci-dessus. -

Boutons et fonctions de la télécommande Toutes les fonctions peuvent être contrôlées à l'aide des touches de la télécommande et de l'écran LCD ( Écran à cristaux liquides) qui guide les fonctions. Certaines fonctions peuvent également être déplacées à l'aide des boutons situés sur la face avant de la télécommande. - Page 30 5.4 Fonctionnement de la télécommande Insertion des piles Insérez 2 piles AAA / alcalines dans votre télécommande. Retournez la face arrière de votre télécommande et retirez le couvercle de la pile. Insérez les piles en respectant les instructions et la polarité des piles.
