INE-DDBJ-350 Conductivity Meter 1 INSTALLATION 1.1 Installation of the meter Open the package and take out the conductivity meter, probe holder and accessories. (Diag.1) Front view of the instrument The meter is composed of electronic unit and probe system。 There are three sockets on the panel to connect with probes and RS-232 interface.

INE-DDBJ-350 Conductivity Meter LCD Display a) With LCD display, clear digital. b) The meter has simple operating prompt function to indicate operating states, as measurement state, set state and printing state, etc. c) With under voltage sign, the meter will automatically display the sign when the batteries are low.

The temp. coefficient is the % change of conductivity with temperature in %/°C. 2.2 Characteristics The INE-DDBJ-350 portable Conductivity Meter is an intelligent analysis instrument; it is suitable for measuring conductivity, temperature, TDS of water solution and salinity. It can also be used to measure purity of pure water, salinity of seawater as treating desalination of seawater (take NaCl as standard).

In conductivity measuring state, there are 9 function modes: Cell constant setup, Temperature compensation coefficient setup, Probe calibration, View stored data, Printing and Deleting single stored data, Printing and Deleting all stored data, and Auto power off setup.

Detail function modes are showed at left, “Adjust” and “K” is function modules to Set Cell constant. The present measurement state is showed on the bottom of screen.

INE-DDBJ-350 Conductivity Meter Selection of cell constant Prepare of electrode 1. Wash the electrode with DI water fully; then rinse the electrode as “4.3 Method of cleaning and reserve”. If it is unstable or mistake continuously, please refer to “4 Maintenance and service”.

INE-DDBJ-350 Conductivity Meter 3.5 Calibration Calibrate Cell constant Every probe is marked a constant value when it leaves factory. If it is necessary, user can calibrate probe again to obtain correct measurement. According to cell constant, select suitable standard solution (see table 1). Preparation of standard solution see table 2, relation of standard solution and conductivity value see table 3.

The meter will stop calibrating cell constant and return to measuring state directly if users press “PRINT/CANCEL” button during adjusting.
