Ignition
1) Key Ignition - Put your key that comes
with the unit into the key slot. Turn it to
the position that is what you would like
to accomplish.
Furthest Right - Turn the key to the right
to turn on the Swift
Middle Position - Turn the key to the
middle position to turn off the Swift.
Left Position - Turn the key to the left
to unlock the seat (it will come back to
middle position once this is done)
Wheel Lock - To engage the wheel lock, turn the handlebars so that the front tire is facing to the left
and then turn push the key in further and turn the key to the left position. (This time it will stay in that
position)
2) Ignition lock key - Put the rear of the key into the slot shown (Figure 5 above) above and turn count-
er clockwise to remove the ignition lock.
3) Ignition lock button - Press this button to close the ignition hole. This is to prevent theft.
Keys
The Swift comes with two sets of keys and two re-
motes. There are four buttons on the remote:
1) Set Alarm - This button will set the alarm. After
pressing it wait for 5 seconds. Afterwards if someone
moves the bike the alarm will sound.
2) Remove alarm - This will disengage the alarm. Use
this before riding your bike. **Also disengeages re-
mote start*
3) Panic Button - This will automatically set the alarm
off
4) Remote Start - Press this twice to start the bike
without using the keys. Press the remove alarm button
(2) to disengage the remote start
5) Ignition key - Use this to unlock the ignition (see
below)
