TRACK EDITING
Track Divide
You can divide a track into two at the selected point.
1.
Select and confirm "Track Divide" in step 5 for
"TRACK EDITING" on page 37.
The following message appears on the display.
Disc that contains the track to be divided
The disc number that contains the track to be divided flashes.
2.
Select the disc that contains the track to be divided
by rotating the MULTI JOG knob (pressing +/– on the
remote control).
3.
Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote
control) to confirm the disc that contains the track to
be divided.
The number of the track to be divided flashes.
4.
Select the track to be divided by rotating the MULTI
JOG knob (pressing +/– on the remote control).
5.
Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote
control) to confirm the track to be divided.
6.
Press w/d (w on the remote control) to play the track
to be divided.
"Div.Pt." and the dividing point alternately appear on the
display.
7.
Set the dividing point by rotating the MULTI JOG
knob (pressing +/– on the remote control).
The dividing point can be set by "minute: second: frame".
Move the cursor on the side of the second indication to the
point to be set by pressing t/e or r/y.
8.
Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote
control) to search for a point that is several seconds
before the dividing point set in step 7. Then the
passage between the searched for point and the
dividing point is repeatedly played.
Go to the next step, if the dividing point is set appropriately. If
not, continue setting by repeating steps 7 and 8.

Press COMPLETE.
The selected track is divided into two at the set dividing point.
Cautions
• The minimum length of a track is 4 seconds. It is not possible to
create a track that is shorter than 4 seconds by dividing a track.
• One disc can contain up to 99 tracks. If the disc already contains
99 tracks, "Track No.Full" appears on the display.
Note
• The track numbers following the divided track will be up-
numbered by one. However, if there is any unused track number,
only the tracks up to that number will be up-numbered.
