Adjust the time length to change the beginning of the
track by rotating the MULTI JOG knob (pressing +/–
on the remote control).
The time length can be adjusted by "minute: second: frame".
(Frame is the unit used for values smaller than 1 second. 75
frames make 1 second.) Move the cursor on the side of the
second indication to the part to be adjusted by pressing t/e
or r/y.

Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote
control) to search for the temporarily changed
beginning point of the track according to the time
length setting made in step 7 and start repeated
playback of the track from the new beginning point to
the end.
Go to the next step if the new beginning point is set
appropriately. If not, continue the adjustment by repeating steps
7 and 8.
Notes
• Press CLEAR to cancel the new setting and return to the original
setting for the track beginning point.
• If a wrong selection is confirmed, press CLEAR to cancel it.
Then, select again and confirm the correct entry.

Press COMPLETE.
The new track beginning point is set.

Track Erase
You can erase a selected track.
1.
Select and confirm "Track Erase" in step 5 for
"TRACK EDITING" on page 37.
The following message appears on the display.
Disc that contains the track to be erased
The disc number that contains the track to be erased flashes.

Select the disc that contains the track to be erased
by rotating the MULTI JOG knob (pressing +/– on the
remote control).
3.
Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote
control) to confirm the disc that contains the track to
be erased.
The number of the track to be erased flashes.
4.
Select the track to be erased by rotating the MULTI
JOG knob (pressing +/– on the remote control).
5.
Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote
control) to confirm the track to be erased.
Notes
• If a wrong selection is confirmed, press CLEAR to cancel it.
Then, select again and confirm the correct entry.
• To check the track to be erased, press w/d (w on the remote
control). This unit starts to play the track to be erased repeatedly.
6.
Press COMPLETE.
The selected track is erased.
Note
• The number of the track that has been erased will be available for
future use.
