6.Information on servicing 1)Checks to the area Prior to beginning work on systems containing flammable refrigerants, safety checks are necessary to ensure that the risk of ignition is minimised. For repair to the refrigerating system, the following precautions shall be complied with prior to conducting work on the system.

9)Checks to electrical devices Repair and maintenance to electrical components shall include initial safety checks and component inspection procedures. If a fault exists that could compromise safety, then no electrical supply shall be connected to the circuit until it is satisfactorily dealt with.

Leak detection fluids are suitable for use with most refrigerants but the use of detergents containing chlorine shall be avoided as the chlorine may react with the refrigerant and corrode the copper pipe-work. If a leak is suspected, all naked flames shall be removed/extinguished.

g) Start the recovery machine and operate in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. h)Do not overfill cylinders. Description Press to turn the dehumidifier on and o . NOTE: The power light illuminates when the unit is switched on and turns dark when the unit is switched o . When Humidity/Temperature sensor POWER ON/OFF malfunction occurs, the power light blinks at 5 times per second (on some models).

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Care and cleaning of the dehumidifier Turn the dehumidifier o and remove the plug from the wall outlet before cleaning. Clean the Grille and Case Use water and a mild detergent. Do not use bleach or abrasives. Do not splash water directly onto the main unit.

· Clean the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse and let the filter dry before replacing it. Do not clean the filter in a dishwasher. To attach: · Insert the air filter into the unit from underside to upside for model C. NOTE: When re-install the filter, please pat the middle buckles of the filter first and then pat the bottom bukcle.
TROUBLESHOOTING Before calling for service, review the chart below first yourself. Problem What to check Make sure the dehumidifier s plug is pushed completely into the outlet. Check the house fuse/circuit breaker box. Unit does not start Dehumidifier has reached its preset level or bucket is full. Water bucket is not in the proper position.
