Free-Space Plasma Light Source
Chapter 8: Command Line Operation
8.3.10. LAD=n; LAD? – Operation Mode
The LAD command is used to set or query the device operation mode.
LAD=n
Sets the lamp control mode. The value of n can be one of the following:
n=1: Closed loop
n=2: Open loop
n=3: Eco
LAD?
Queries the operation mode.
Return:
LAD=n
Where n is the operation mode.
NOTE: When the light source is working under closed loop mode, the max output light intensity is about 80% of
working under open loop mode; while light source is working under Eco mode, the max output light intensity is
about 50% of working under open loop mode.
If n is out of current list range, the controller returns CMD_ARG_RANGE_ERR.
8.3.11. LON=n; LON? – Bulb Module ON/OFF
The LON command is used to set or query the bulb module on/off status.
LON=n
Turn the bulb module on or off. The value of n can be one of the following:
n=0: bulb module turn off
n=1: bulb module turn on
LON?
Queries the bulb module on/off status.
Return:
LON=n
Where n is the bulb module on/off status.
NOTE: This command is a separate on/off command to turn on/off the bulb module, regardless the shutter state.
Normally, the bulb module need about 30s to stabilize its output power after turning back on. Frequently turning
on and off the bulb module may impact its life. We do not recommend using this command for frequently on/off
switch, or modulation of the beam.
If n is out of current list range, the controller returns CMD_ARG_RANGE_ERR.
