    About the active noise-cancelling function The product is designed to use its built-in microphone to pick up noise from the surrounding environment (noise from vehicles, noise from air conditioners, etc.) and to cancel out that noise by producing sounds in negative phase. This results in a reduction in the sounds in your environment.

For a more enjoyable experience, please use the product as close as possible to the Bluetooth device. To minimize noise and sound disruptions, avoid placing your body or other obstacles between the product’s antenna (L side) and the Bluetooth device.

    Charging the battery Fully charge the battery when using it for the first time. When the rechargeable battery is running low, the voice guidance will play the message “Low battery”, and the indicator lamp will flash in orange. Charge the battery as soon as possible. It takes about 2.5 hours maximum to charge the battery fully.
  • Page 11 Charging the battery Disconnect the USB charging cable (USB Type-C side) from the product’s battery jack. If you start to charge while the product is on, it will automatically turn off. When charging, make sure to use the included USB charging cable. The product may not charge with cables other than the included USB charging cable.

    Power supply ON/OFF Turning on the product Press and hold the power supply / control button (about 1 second). The indicator lamp lights in white, and then flashes. It may take several seconds for the indicator lamps to light. Turning off the product Press and hold the power supply / control button (for about 3 seconds).

    Use your Bluetooth device to begin the pairing process and search for the product. When your Bluetooth device finds the product, “ATH-S300BT” will be displayed on the device. For information about using your Bluetooth device, refer to the device’s user manual.

    Connecting via Bluetooth Multipoint function The product supports multipoint, which allows two Bluetooth devices to be connected at the same time. While you are listening to music with one device, you can answer a call that comes in from the other device. It is convenient if you have two smartphones, for example.

    Wearing the product Put the side of the earpads marked “L” (LEFT) onto the left ear and the side marked “R” (RIGHT) onto the right ear, slide the slider up and down so that the earpads cover the ears, and then adjust the headband. Swivel mechanism You can fold the housing so that it lies flat.

Listening to music To connect for the first time, pair the product and your device via Bluetooth wireless technology.

  • Page 24 Cleaning Get into the habit of regularly cleaning the product to ensure that it will last for a long time. Do not use alcohol, paint thinners, or other solvents for cleaning purposes. Use a dry cloth to clean the headphones. To clean the earpads and headband, wipe with a dry cloth.
