    BENTONE Electric equipment Safety system The safety system (safety switch for hatches, doors, water level, pressure, temperature and other safety devices) must be installed in the safety circuit in accordance with current regulations for the system. The cables of the safety system must be separated so that the outgoing signal is not placed in the same cable as the incoming signal.

    BENTONE Installation General instructions Oil burners must be installed in accordance with local regulations. The installer must therefore be knowledgeable of the regulations pertaining to oil and combustion. Only oil suitable for the burner must be used and then in combination with a suitable oil filter installed before the burner’s oil pump.

    BENTONE Mounting 4.7.1 Hole pattern Make sure the hole pattern on the burner corresponds to the supplied flange, (see Technical data). 4.7.2 Burner installation Install the flange with gasket on the boiler. Fit the selected nozzle, (see Technical data). Install the brake plate and check the ignition electrodes, (see Burner Servicing).

    BENTONE Function BFP 11 / BFP 21 When the pump is started oil is drawn from the suction connection (S) through the filter (H) to the gear wheel pump’s suction side (C). From there the oil is conveyed to the pressure side of the gear wheel pump, where the oil is pressurized.

    BENTONE LE-S System Note! The *LE-S pump has an integrated check-valve function at the solenoid valve, allowing the oil pressure to expand backwards during standstill. The desired function of avoiding the formation of drops on the nozzle can only be achieved by using both the LE-S pump and the LE valve built into the FPHB-LE preheater.

    BENTONE Service Service and maintenance work may only be performed by qualified personnel. Perform operational check of all safety systems and components at each service. Only CTC original parts should be used when replacing components. Use caution when operating the burner, surfaces may be hot. Burner Service Schedule, Oil Servicing must be carried out once a year or after 3,000 hours of operation.

    BENTONE Combustion device Disconnect the main power and shut off the fuel supply. Remove the burner from the boiler by loosening the screw (A). Loosen the housing screw (B) and remove the front cover (C). Visually inspect the combustion assembly and check the various components for defects.
