Internal or External The PaxLock Pro is available in either an internal or an IP 55 rated external variant. Depending on the installation you may want a mix of both variants to suit the environment. When choosing the external version, it is important to note that only the external side of the lockset is IP rated, meaning the PaxLock Pro should never be installed externally where the whole unit is exposed to the elements.
