REI BK2 - INPUT Xfinity Cable Box / Output #1 4K Sony TV / Output #2 Sony Amplifier. What setting should I use to get 4K video and audio from Output #1 and audio from Output #2 for my amplifier?
To get 4K video from Output #1 to a Sony TV and audio from Output #2 to a Sony amplifier on the REI BK-102, adjust the EDID DIP switch settings as follows:
1. Set the EDID DIP switch to [DIP]=110 for 4K60 (4:4:4), 2.0CH if stereo audio is sufficient.
2. If multi-channel audio is required, use [DIP]=100 for FRL12G_8K_HDR, 5.1CH or [DIP]=011 for FRL12G_8K_HDR, 7.1CH.
3. Ensure the Sony TV is connected to Output #1 and the Sony amplifier is connected to Output #2.
4. Use an Ultra HDMI 2.1 cable for best performance.
This setup ensures 4K video output to the TV while sending the appropriate audio format to the amplifier.
