4 CO2 EFFECT DEVICES (CO2 WAVE JET, CO2 JET, CO2 GUN)
4.1 STORAGE
Depressurize the System of every effect device after every show and again before moving them

into storage to avoid wearing out sealing- and moving parts!
Clean the effect devices with rubbing alcohol to get rid of dirt or grime!

4.2 BEFORE EVERY SHOW
Check safety distances and adjust accordingly!

Check the devices and hoses for leakage!

Check if the area is well ventilated, if using the devices indoors!

Shoot the devices to see the effect when changing the CO2 tank!

Use the desired controlling method to test all devices to check if they will work on location!

Anchor CO2 tanks to prevent them from tipping over!

Anchor the CO2 device to prevent them from sliding!

Instruct personnel on the noise and enforce the use of ear protection!

Always use DMX terminators on the last device in a DMX chain! (Wave Jet)

4.3 AFTER EVERY SHOW
Check devices for damages and mark faulty ones with tape and a description of the issue!

Close the tank and fire the device to depressurize the system including the hose!

Wait until the devices are dry or wipe them down with a cloth before packing them!

Clean the devices when they are dirty!

CO2 devices have recoil, anchor them accordingly!
Instruct actors who use the CO2 gun to hold firmly onto the device!
