6.2.1 Laying pipes on a slope

When laying concrete pipes on a slope, the red
side of the pipe must always point downhill.
If the side marked in red points uphill, the
subsequent opening of the device is very difficult
or possibly not possible at all when setting
down the material to be picked up!
6.3

Information sign

An info sign is attached to
the device for the
operator, which shows the
individual operating steps.
This info sign should be
removed from the
machine and attached so
that it is visible to the
operator, e.g. in the
excavator cabin.
6.4

Before the daily work

Check that the leg springs are hooked into the SAFELOCK safety interlock and are intact.
Check for foreign bodies (dirt, stones) in the area of the internal gear teeth.
6.5

Operating procedure

The gripping good (concrete pipe) must always be
gripped below the largest pipe diameter.
Otherwise there is a danger of the load slipping!
