Power saver settings

You can select the following power saver settings in this menu:
1. • If the On option is selected, the Mediabox switches to power saver mode
when inactive.
• If the Night option is selected, the Mediabox switches to power saver mode
when inactive from 11 pm onwards. The Night option covers the period from
11 pm to 5 am.
• Select the Off option to deactivate power saver mode entirely.
2. Here you can set how long (in minutes) the Mediabox may remain inactive
before automatically switching to power saver mode. Maximum setting:
240 minutes.
3. Power consumption in standby can also be set. You can choose between high
or low.
• High: Mediabox power consumption in standby is around 8 watts (restart in
3–5 seconds).
• Low: Mediabox power consumption in standby is around 1 watt (restart in
30–50 seconds).
Chapter 9. Settings
Note:
If you have programmed recordings, the Mediabox activates automatically
from standby and starts recording. The Mediabox also activates automatically
from standby for tasks like software upgrades etc. These routines never last
longer than 2 hours after which the Mediabox switches back to standby.

Network search

In the network search settings you can manually or automatically search

channels.
1. Enter your PIN code and then press (OK button) ok. The default PIN code is
1234.
2. Choose whether you want to run a manual or automatic search by pressing
or button.
3. Press to start the network search.
Note:
Please make sure you have your activation code. The activation code
can be found on your welcome letter, your Digital TV Infocard or on
upc-cablecom.ch/setupid.
